Reads the export you download from Snapchat, not a live connection — Snapchat offers no way to read this automatically. Your chats, snaps and saved memories become how often and when, never what you said or who you said it to. No username, display name, group name or message is stored, yours or anybody else's, and your friends list becomes numbers with the names thrown away. No location is kept either: the archive carries a coordinate on most saved memories and an estimate of where you live, and those are read and discarded — only the city survives.

What does auracle do with it?

It reads it, and once a morning it texts you on iMessage about what it noticed — one message, on the earliest credible sign your day has started. You can ask it anything in the same thread. It is wellness software: it does not diagnose, treat or dose, and when a question needs a clinician it says so.

Whatever it reads, you can take back. The export is one file per connected source, in that source’s own order, whenever you ask.
