Signal in auracle.

How much you message and on which days — counted on your own computer, from the Signal Desktop database already on your disk. Signal keeps no record of who you talk to, and neither does this: no names, no numbers, no per-person totals, no message text. Your account is untouched — nothing is linked and Signal is never contacted.

What does auracle read from Signal?

How much you message and on which days — counted on your own computer, from the Signal Desktop database already on your disk. Signal keeps no record of who you talk to, and neither does this: no names, no numbers, no per-person totals, no message text. Your account is untouched — nothing is linked and Signal is never contacted. auracle keeps that alongside everything else you have connected, so a short night or a heavy week is read against the rest of your data rather than on its own.

It is filed under relationships & comms, and it is one of 102 sources auracle can read today.

How do you connect Signal?

link it from the auracle web dashboard.

Signal keeps no record of who talks to whom — so connecting it does not copy anything, it creates a record that exists nowhere else, about people who have not agreed and cannot be asked. Your Signal account is untouched: nothing is linked, no device appears, and Signal is never contacted. You run a small program on your own computer; it reads the Signal Desktop database already on your disk and sends only a line per day — the date, how many messages you sent and received, and how many conversations were active. No message text, no names or numbers, and no per-person totals even scrambled.

Connecting anything requires an auracle account, and sign-ups are invite-only while the beta is small. Request beta access.

What does auracle do with it?

It reads it, and once a morning it texts you on iMessage about what it noticed — one message, on the earliest credible sign your day has started. You can ask it anything in the same thread. It is wellness software: it does not diagnose, treat or dose, and when a question needs a clinician it says so.

Whatever it reads, you can take back. The export is one file per connected source, in that source’s own order, whenever you ask.
