Relationships & comms
Contacts in auracle.
The people in your phone’s address book, so the twin knows who you mean by name. Email addresses and numbers are scrambled the moment they arrive and are never stored — only the names you typed, and a scrambled key that recognises the same person across your other sources. Nobody is ever matched or merged by name alone.
What does auracle read from Contacts?
The people in your phone’s address book, so the twin knows who you mean by name. Email addresses and numbers are scrambled the moment they arrive and are never stored — only the names you typed, and a scrambled key that recognises the same person across your other sources. Nobody is ever matched or merged by name alone. auracle keeps that alongside everything else you have connected, so a short night or a heavy week is read against the rest of your data rather than on its own.
It is filed under relationships & comms, and it is one of 103 sources auracle can read today.
How do you connect Contacts?
link it from the auracle app on your phone.
The people in your phone’s address book, so the twin knows who you mean when you say a name. Their email addresses and phone numbers are scrambled the moment they arrive and are never stored — what is kept is the name you typed and a scrambled key, which is what lets the twin tell that the Ada in your contacts is the Ada in your inbox. Nobody is matched or merged just because two names look alike, and any merge is shown to you first, recorded, and undoable. Connect it from the auracle iPhone or Android app; you can delete the whole import at any time.
Connecting anything requires an auracle account, and sign-ups are invite-only while the beta is small. Request beta access.
What does auracle do with it?
It reads it, and once a morning it texts you on iMessage about what it noticed — one message, on the earliest credible sign your day has started. You can ask it anything in the same thread. It is wellness software: it does not diagnose, treat or dose, and when a question needs a clinician it says so.
Whatever it reads, you can take back. The export is one file per connected source, in that source’s own order, whenever you ask.
