What does auracle read from BOOX Cloud?
Reading minutes, days & books, straight from your BOOX account — scan a code to link it. auracle keeps that alongside everything else you have connected, so a short night or a heavy week is read against the rest of your data rather than on its own.
It is filed under learning & practice, and it is one of 103 sources auracle can read today.
How do you connect BOOX Cloud?
link it from the auracle web dashboard.
Which days you read, how many minutes BOOX counted and how many books were open. Open the BOOX Cloud tile in the auracle dashboard, scan the code with the BOOX app you are already signed in to, and it starts filling in on its own — no password and no sign-in code passes through auracle. What BOOX gives out is a key to your whole account, with no way to ask for less: auracle only ever reads your reading statistics with it, and never sends anything to your reader or removes anything from it. BOOX signs it out about every three weeks, so you will scan again now and then, and signing out of your devices in BOOX settings ends it immediately. One thing to know before you start: Onyx runs separate servers by region and only the global one reports reading statistics, so if your account was registered on the European one nothing will arrive — auracle says so plainly rather than sitting empty, and the BOOX notes upload still works.
BOOX signs auracle out about every three weeks and there is no way to renew it quietly, so you will scan a code again now and then. If your BOOX account was registered on Onyx’s European server, it reports no reading statistics at all and nothing will arrive.
Connecting anything requires an auracle account, and sign-ups are invite-only while the beta is small. Request beta access.
What does auracle do with it?
It reads it, and once a morning it texts you on iMessage about what it noticed — one message, on the earliest credible sign your day has started. You can ask it anything in the same thread. It is wellness software: it does not diagnose, treat or dose, and when a question needs a clinician it says so.
Whatever it reads, you can take back. The export is one file per connected source, in that source’s own order, whenever you ask.
